Just wondering, after mine experience from the other day, how convenient can this turn out to be.

Well i didn't do to well in the end, paying a lot more then i would have expected... let alone with the typo. When i accidentally saw it, i thought "this is going to be a bargain",  but it wasn't...

but then again, i'm sure that few of you did well in the past?!?

you don't have to stumble on things through fat fingers, or have I now let a secret out of the bag?

Nah, I've had a saved search for 'Epitone of Sound' since the famous Pete S acquisition - with no luck whatsoever!

Well, not just vinyl, but going through Fat Fingers I've had a lot of bargains from Schuco toys, Dinky (and how hard is that to spell) to Kouros aftershave

Fat Fingers was a pain in the arse when it started up, best one I think I had before that was a beautiful 1971 Omega 'Dymanic' watch.

I bought a Willie Kendrick "Change Your Ways" listed as Willie Hendrick. I think I was the only bidder on a $99.99 start.

Mine in more recent times is Andy Fisher on Fat Fish. Discovered in the Baby Clothes section EBay.com. That'll do nicely at $250

Picked up a record I was looking for awhile ago via ebay.... Jimmy Toliver come shine.....listed as JOHNNY TOLIVER for around $20 US. MINT COPY.

If you dig enough sometimes you just get lucky.

I recently picked up  a Van Dykes SMLFARD issue in great nick for £25, the lad had it listed as the Van Dyes.

I picked up a NM Thunder Lightning & Rain - Super Funky on Saadia typed as Thunder Lighting & Rain for $225 a few years back. Not a real bargain but I was the only bidder.

Lots!
An original Johnny sayles - can't get enough on St Lawrence (only listed the B side)
Pookie Hudson - this gets to me original, again only the B side listed
Solomon King - This beautiful day - UK Columbia (listed as 'say a prayer for me') Still never found out why this copies 'A' side is 'Say a prayer for me, when on every other copy it is just 'say a prayer'? any ideas yet? also the dead wax lettering is different, but is definitely an original UK Columbia press. intriguing eh? :g:

Most recent Maxine Brown - Let me give you my loving on US Wand, listed as 'Machine Brown' LOL £12 no bids but mine

Picked up the Conquistadors - Sadness And Madness in a C&W lot for $15 a while back (the seller wouldn't post outside the States, so I got a friend to bid for me)

Blue Sharks listed with about 40 musical LPs like Sound of Music, King and I etc, Italian lass.

Lavern Baker "I'm the one do it" USA Brunswick Demo, NM. $12. I had the search saved for eons and one popped in email on Buy it Now for $12!

There was another listed at the same that went for £95, $140 ish.

Moral, keep those searches saved!
