Anybody tell me what the typeface is on this 'Mellow' label? the Mellow logo that is...

Shadow true type font, got mine on a cd Key fonts plus by softkey, might be on net now had it years.   :)

Umbra is the correct answer as given by Kjw in post #2.

 

Specifically designed for the Ludlow typesetting system as would have been used in American printshops in the 1950s and 60s. It's a derivation of Futura.

Why not call it Chicago '60s Small label font?  Why demo?  It was used on store stock, too.

Reminds me of Bob's interview where he tells the interviewer how he could id a host of Chicago tracks by their labels and typefaces... bit sad really but its a beautiful thing.... :rolleyes:
