I'd say it was rarer..rarest 45 I ever owned.. money talks tho..so it went.. wish I hadn't bothered tho

Which? "Ain't Gonna Do You No Harm"? Definitely less known copies than Eddie Parker but, no where near as good a double sider IMHO.

You can surely only compare two records when they are very similar styles... Eddie Parker is a thumping up-tempo raw dance tune,

New Wanderers is between mid and up-tempo, more of a Soulful floater... both brilliant in their own right!

Different tempos, voice styles, arrangements, e.t.c....but! A.G.D.Y.N.H. and I'm Gone?-BOTH! MONSTER!! DANCERS!!! Flip sides aint bad either;-)

...but back to the original Q.... yes NW is definately rarer

Ha, in your view yes Dave but maybe not in others, i like them both for different reasons. EP you can hear out regularly, NW once a blue moon... hence the rarity

New Wanderers By A Country Mile!!!!!

Let me Render was one of my 1st soul tapes introducing me to Northern. The guy who did the tape had speeded it up a bit, so when i finally heard it at it's proper tempo, i thought i'd gone doo-lally-it was really slow! Used to it now tho'. What a voice! Not Mr Pollard,of course, but who is the lead singer? Cha, cha, cha cha-cha-WOH-YEAH'! indeed! CLASSIC!

Don't like either side of New Wanderers, sorry.  I like This Man In Love though.

The New Wanderers is by far and way the rarer of the two. Let Me Render My Service is the side, so so soulful. Eddie Parker is great, but New Wanderers edges every time for me, just so much more complete.

Same here love it , sold my copy to  Japanese guy few years ago £1800 pounds 

Mine had to go as the 3 records I got in trade were double what it's worth at the time... still way up on the deal.... only trouble is I ain't got the wanderers anymore... and it does pain me a little

First time i heard Let me render my services to you was Roger Banks late 80s

I remember some years ago being in the record bar at the Cleethorpes Weekender on a Sunday afternoon....my wife had brought the kids after being at Pleasue Island...some one played Let Me Render My Service......my lad,who would have been 8-9 at the time started singing along word perfect....the chins of the guys doing the selling hit the floor...suspect they thought what TF is this...happy days

Have to say my life is all the richer for hearing all 4 of those fantastic soul records "Ain't gonna do you no harm" "Let me render" "I,m gone" and "Crying Clown" understand why people state preference but I love all 4 of em, its a photo finish
