I paid good money years back but have never seen it for sale or auction since, so I beg the question to all out there, just how rare is this tune and what would be considered the going price.

Heard this played by Rob Gray last week at pure soul in Nuneaton ....it's rare!...searling spin at Wigan....2/3k I would imagine poss more in today's climate...will stand corrected by the guys who know on here....great record.....thank you...Rob

seen it once in the last year on Ebay, but it does turn up, obviously it goes for big money every time...

that was it, it was a very chipped one, I remember putting a bid in to see if i could stick it in a frame, as it was unplayable... that copy went for $255, although best win on there is the person who won it listed for the flip side "THE WORLD KEEPS SPINNING" at $688 in 2010... thats a good one me thinks..

I agree with Phil.. Turns up only on occasion, indicating that it rarity is a main contributing factor to any seldom seen copies when it does actually come to market. 

Covered by Richard Searling as 'The  lover who loves you not' as  I recall. The name Herbie Williams comes to mind but I'm not certain of that.

Not really. Court Davis rarely comes to market. You can pick up Cecil Washington more easily for £1,750. Better to own both rather than view it as an either/or decision.
