Al 'Alonzo' Wilson- love you baby

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I've heard contrasting opinion about a realistic value to be given to this 45. For instance, one sold for something close to 350 £ earlier today, whilst some other 2012/2013 dated lists used to attach a '900 £' Worth price tag to it. Could anybody throw more light on it, please?

thx in advance

A copy of this sold for $775 USD in April of 2012 , but since then prices have fallen.

A copy in vg++ sold for $341 USD in May of 2013, a near mint copy sold for $406 USD  in

August of 2013, and a copy described as "real nice" sold for $350 USD in Feb. of 2014.

This was a very rare record, ie only a handful of copies had turned up. Then over the past 5 years a slew of them came onto the market visibly on Ebay and through private sales. Also may I venture that nice as it is, this type of uptempo disco sound is less in vogue now, so much so that this added to availability has caused it to take a major tumble in price. I would think that a clean copy and there are a fair few almost mint ones around would sell for around £350-£450ish
