Monarch Pressing Plant Data

I can't remember how I got hold of this, probably someone from here. Anyway a few people have asked for it so here's a copy. It shows the matrix number, year and month. Useful when checking those run outs :thumbsup:

Flynny's was not as comprehensive as the one above which I posted on here.  Got it from someone Stateside.

It is worth remembering that other labels also used the Delta numbering system which is a triangle followed by one of the numbers in the chart. 

If it is M monarch it will have MR in a circle.

Also looks like an "a" with a forward slash with "CO" after it.

I had an earlier issue of that list ranging only to mid 1976.   Alco was Allied Steel Company.

Astonshingly the comlpany still exists albeit under a different name.

Hey, my interview with Eddie Floyd (conducted over 29 years ago) is included in that edition of Shades of Soul !!
