Any proof Dee was Dee Edwards??

On the Dee & Joe Jubilee 5670 "Who Is It Gonna Be" c/w "I Found Love" recording certainly sound like two guys..although Peggy Scott could sound like a male vocal in parts of here duets with Jo Jo Benson.

I'm listening to it now, Chalky can't hear a female on these two cuts..

Also Jubilee 5670 alledgedly exists on Big Six 101 anyone ever seen one...

I think Dave would want it dead-right. I haven't a copy of the De To recording in stock at the 'mo. But I seem to remeber that was a male duet as well, with a killer deep soul side.

Like I say maybe I'm wrong, but DEE & JOE on Jubilee sounds like two guys..and it is a Detroit recording.

Listening to the Dee & Joe on Jubilee I've got to agree with you John, can't hear a female in there. Will have to listen to soundfile of the Dee (D) & Joe on D-Town to fully confirm I suppose
