Keith Money
Looking for some help, has anybody traveled with Easyjet lately (new rules for hand luggage) hand carrying records (in a Zomo record bag) and had any problems getting them on board. Any help would be appreciated as it is very confusing on there website. Cheers Keith Link to comment Social source share
Girdwoodinc
Keith haven't had an issue with Easyjet travelling like that, although just make sure you only have one piece of hand luggage as the Mrs had to put her handbag in her suitcase on the way back from Milan with them as they wouldn't allow her on with records and a small handbag Link to comment Social source share
Keith Money
Cheers, They have new rules where they only allow 70 cabin bags which is 35 couples which isn't a lot and the rest goes in the hold. Link to comment Social source share
Girdwoodinc
zomo should be able to fit under the seat in front of you, I can fit my tucker and bloom under the seat and it's about the same size (I've got a custom 100 count swan box and that also fits under a seat no problem) Dave Edited September 3, 2018 by Ahoy Sailor Link to comment Social source share
Ljblanken
can you post a link to those bags (zomo and "tucker and bloom")? I have big flight cases (200 records), but would like something smaller (like 50-75) to travel with. thanks! Link to comment Social source share

Benji
To the owners of Tucker Bloom or Zomo bags: Are these bags soft cushioned only or do they also have a stiff inner frame in the padding? Reason I'm asking is that I think these bags look quite bendy. I wouldn't trust my records wouldn't break. 1 Link to comment Social source share
Girdwoodinc
The tucker and bloom has a thick plastic rub all the way round the definitely protects your records, the only downside is that it’s just a soft top which I’m not overly keen on but as I always have my records with me or make sure that there’s not something sitting on top of it it’s worked so far - had mine a couple of years but to be honest it’s pretty big for my needs, I usually just take my custom 100 box when playing although the upside of the T&B is it that it can slip over the top of a rolling travel bag which frees your hands up. All boxes/bags have their pros and cons, still to find one that really meets all my need last to be honest 1 Link to comment Social source share
