Just heard the very sad news that Dave has passed away. Such a lovely guy and a great photographer whose pictures have been used in many publications.

Funeral details to follow in due course.

A truly lovely friend who always said it as it was but we had some good laughs over the years putting the world to rights.  We are going to miss you dearly but RIP Dave we will always be “Forever Friends”.  Lynn and Dave

Very sad news. Dave was a great bloke who always had a superb sense of humour. He will be sadly missed. RIP.

Sad news to read of Dave's passing, remember him from the early 90's when we would see him out and about with his camera, a lovely guy with a great sense of humour.

Sad news indeed remember Dave from Cala Gran,Brighouse etc. he was taking photo,s at the Dells gig at Kings Hall and says to me keep an eye out for me coming onto stage during the concert.Well I did and he snapped me looking at him whilst everyone else was looking at Dells and he managed to get it into Manifesto magazine.Took some stick over that photo.

Really sorry to hear this sad news. Talked to Dave at quite a few places back in the day, from Stoke, Brighouse, Halifax, Cleethorpes to name a few. Thanks for the photos Snapper. R.I.P.

Great bloke, a proper gent.  He and his camera has been and will be greatly missed.

I got to know Dave really well as we shared a deep appreciation of Detroit and it’s music. So sorry to hear of his passing. RIP Dave.

So, so sad, what a Gent, met Dave many times on my travels, he used to send me photos of the many events he attended.  My sincere condolences to his Family and all those close to him.

Devastating news to hear of Dave passing we are  in shock. Dave a very good friend and great guy, I'll miss my weekly chats with him. Our thoughts go out to Dave's family.  RIP DAVE                             Fred & Jacque Ward.

Sad news of Dave's passing, many year ago at Prestatyn he said to me, you look like Tommy Walsh, so he went round asking people if they wanted their photo taken with me. That memory will stick with me forever.

I have know Dave since the late 1960s, worked together, played football together and had many a great day with the Northern soul, R.I.P. Matey, gone far too soon.

Really sorry to hear about dave a lovely man and fantastic photographer had some great laughs with Liverpool v man utd banter with him he helped me out with photos years ago for flyers etc met his daughter a few times like dave a lovely lass rip pal

Well what a turnout for Dave!                            We sent him off in style, with tributes spoken by Ginger Taylor at the service and Nigel Grice at the event after.

Dave you will always be in our hearts and thoughts R.I.P. our friend.
