Although it sounds like there could be a connection between Ronnie and Robyn and Rick, Robin and Him, there is none.

 Rick was Richard Witte who wrote both sides of the single and also "Ain't No Place Like Motown" for the Velvelettes.

Robin was Sally Fuhrman.

The identity of Him is not that easy. The Motown session logs list the group only as Rick and Robin. There is also info that

has Him as being Sally's brother Ron Fuhrman.
