The Dells were an American R&B vocal group. Formed in high school in 1952 by founding members Marvin Junior, Verne Allison, Johnny Funches, Chuck Barksdale, and Mickey and Lucius McGill, under the name the El-Rays.

I know the song has been mentioned a few times and there's

already an audio clip but..... does anyone know anything about

this clip? It looks more like a video than a television appearance. -

 

Having one of the greatest voices ever caught on tape gives any group a head start.

The Dells were more than just Marvin Junior, recording classic side after classic side over decade's. 

You could pick dozens of great tracks, but this is one I particularly enjoy.
