Teddy and the Finger Poppers is ok, but I much prefer Cliff Nobles version on Phil La of Soul!

Jeff Lane is a great record, bought mine off Tim Brown at Dave Box's last Wilton bash along with a couple of other unknown/obscure 45s. Never seen one for sale since so it must be as rare as Tim told

I bought a Jeff Lane from Koppel in Toronto in 1986/7ish for $30 CAN. Never heard it played, but I don't remember Martin saying it was particularly rare. His Battle stuff is very good too, especially

Jeff lane, never heard it before, sounds an alright record to me,worthy of the value, must be a rare piece?

All the rest are pretty much what one would expect.

His Battle stuff is very good too, especially Baby Come Home which has strong mid 80s Stafford/100 Club vibes to me though I don't know if it ever got played?

There's a nice still cheap beat ballad by him on United International which appears to be big with the popcorn lot - again, can imagine it at the 100 Club (?) these days but my memory for records I might have heard is useless unless I have a copy.

Appointments on dart is very good I nearly got one on here for 350 maybe 20 years ago ?

I’m surprised it got that high somebody wanted it.

Dave, it looks like somebody put in a bid forgetting the way Tims auction works, what you bid you pay.

I might be wrong but i'm inclined to disagree. Seen two for sale in recent days: one looking scruffy so extremely cheap, ( £70 ) the other top notch it appears and £200.

The one Tim had up is stone mint, i know this because i get to see the auction items before theyre posted up.

Bargain in that respect but then generally lots of stuff all over the place, valuewise so, unpredictable.

Yes, the JJ Callier is madly overpriced!
