I know the promoter, Karl, very well, and if you look at the history of the event you will see he is constantly trying to vary what the punters are served, every 'premier' league jock has graced the decks there plus a miriad of top collectors too. The regular attendees have been subjected to some of the finest soul tunes around. So Im not sure where your coming from when you suggested Steve's playlist wouldnt be appreciated, Iv been present at both doo's when he's played and I have to say that the dance floor on both occasions was a healthy sight,on Saturday once again he played his socks off and I dont think he compromised to much,no one would ever suggest that this is a Yarmouth crowd, probably the most open minded crowd to exist in the past 10+ years, BUT they know what they like and with Karl's new approach of everything under one roof the future looks very positive,I must admit I was surprised at what they did dance too. I'd also like to know which particuler soul tunage is to good for the Ritz, perhaps you could let me in on that one, because if Karl asks me to jock there again I will need to know what tunage to leave at home....... A lot of people went home happy on Saturday night, I was one of them. Cheers Gouch Link to comment

He is seeking treatment for it apparently, but best thing to do is ignore him in the hope that he will get bored and b*gger off, or that he gets himslf banned again. On topic, Desborough does seem to have a really wide range of music and you never know quite what you'll get which is one of the reasons I like going. That and decent people there......
