Why would they put two totally unconnected gentlemen on the cover? Were the real Derek & Ray victims of a cruel medical experiment?

Only going on what i was told by old A&R man at RCA involved at the time. Derek Smith from London and Ray Cohen from Brooklyn New York. They reckoned that by using standins of a Handome nature would help sales along. .......Not quite right in this instance. Here is Interplay album

Bob & Fred - worst record??? even the instrumental version is a thousand times better than most of what gets served up as top sounds nowadays
