Is there any venues, theatres or buildings etc. in the Uk midlands northwest preferably that resemble the front of the Wigan Casino??

My guess is that the "Souled Out" film people, who are using Kings Hall for the interior "Wigan" filming, now want any old building that looks like Wigan from the outside, to do some exterior filming.

Its for the Puss Winstanlety/ Prick Martin film I think.......surely Russ will know? Hes such a strong supporter of venues and the scene in general! He must have visited them all There supposed to have a Location Scout Liam....lazy bas--ds!

I made one out of lolly sticks over about a year, whenever i got home from Wigan and couldn't sleep i would go round the estate and pick up lolly sticks and add a bit more. I also made models of dancers out of spaghetti (coz we were all thin back then) I will ask me Dad if it is still in the loft.

Chillax Liam....you're Oirish! I cant think of anywhere from the outside mate no....good luck trying though (me n Annie got scouted @ the Kings Hall cuppla weeks ago, but (despite our combined age of 90 plus and being very flattered considering they were looking for 25 yr olds (and under) ha!) decided they couldnt afford us! (Annie did wonder if they'd be recreating the Wigan loo effect too I might add! )

Seriously, Have a look around you, there are quite a few old buildings which would do around here. Check out cheetham hill road, check out salford (broughton), basically on most of the main roads out of this town, there are run down old bingo halls (a few have been turned into markets) what about hindley monarco?, ok not a double for the casino but would surely work,

And I reckon Jayne's right - people don't want to be thinking of old or current venues, just local buildings that might look similar on the outside.
