  4. Shoot! I was looking forward to years of reminding you of your 'roots'
  5. I sure did, he looks almost as young as you! You forget we were ever that young, brilliant
  6. Brilliant Len Is that Paul Sadot dancing to Julian Covey?
  7. Reggie Sadler Combo - Hear My Song - Panther (ex) £600 Postage extra PayPal (gift / you pay fees) or bank transfer Cheers x
  8. That looks like great fun, well done
  9. Omg. Had many an entertaining weekend in between allnighter days round his house. Certainly didn't expect to read this when I opened your post Barry
  10. I usually refrain from posting but wtf was that all about? Jeez ...
  11. Eddie Parker - I'm Gone - without a shadow of a doubt!
  12. First tape he ever did me was an oldies tape - Mel Wynn (Lose You), Uptights (Shy Guy), Gladys Knight (Glad You Chose) etc. Absolutely loved it, still have it somewhere
  13. Yep me too, he posted it bless him. That's why Rob did more (for me) for the scene than any other big name DJ of that time. Never thought of himself anything other than one of us (unlike some), always willing to share his knowledge about records, not only through talking but by taking the time to do tapes. Great times indeed
  14. He was amazing! Definitely up there as one of the best acts I've seen, absolutely loved it
  15. Hi ya I was like a bad smell back then, still am lol Definitely up for a reunion, nice one Ally ps: anyone remember Jimmy Elder?
  16. He was fab, absolutely hilarious too, couldn't stop laughing Special mention to Ronnie Walker - what an amazing surprise! He is such a humble and lovely man with an amazing voice Great stuff indeed!
  17. It was an amazing night Chalky!
  18. Wow, she's got an amazing voice! I don't watch these shows as a rule (I do sometimes but always switch off at the first sign of a cringefest lol) I didn't think it was for people who have had records out in the past? I'm sure SC said that to someone on the UK show
  19. It might have been one of those 'in the moment' posts, I'm sure we've all been there. Beyond that I'm with you ... only more than a bit lol
  20. I doubt it would make things any clearer Richard, you can't judge how well a set went down from reading a playlist. I've heard many a set that 'on paper' would read pretty average and yet on the night worked really well

  22. Good lad Jim, see you in a couple of weeks
  23. Just as well we don't all wear Shott's attire - the scene would be awash with fez's, ducks and the like
  24. You're guesting again soon Richard, I will be home to listen lol
