God .... what an absolutely fantastic record!!

That's always been my favourite too Chalky Have got the LP along with a number of the tracks on the LP on 45. What's always struck me as strange is the fact all the songs that were released on single are all different cuts than the ones on the album ...... Good album though i must say!

Me and Mark Bicknell saw that old Eastender's heart throb Dr.Legg on the tube ...... we were on our way to the 100 Club so it's sort of soulful .....

Yes ... it was posted on the Detroit forum on 14th November that he had passed away. No other details though.

Never forget working overtime one night and was listening to John Peel .... when he played Charles Thomas - "Man with the Golden Touch" - Loma. Anything remotely 'soul like' always sounds great .... and probably more soulful than it is .... when it's played on mainstream radio. So you can imagine how good this sounded. Gave me a bit of a boost anyway!

I've got this Dave ...... had it years. You're right about it not being that well known. Which has always surprised me seings as all his other stuff is so well known on the scene. Top tune though ....... known or unknown

Cliff Steele is awesome .... always has been! So too is ANDY WHITMORE ...... always plays something i've never heard before .... and always class. Both more than do the business with 60s and the newer stuff. If these 2 were booked to play more ...... then you would really see the scene moving forward

Hey Ritch, What a fantastic record! Only had it a couple of weeks myself actually .... paid £20 for it ... bit of a bargain me thinks Played it Friday night .... and boy ... it SOUNDED AWESOME!! PS: Nowhere near as awesome as you dancing last night with that scarf over your face!! That has got to be the funniest thing i've seen in years ...... still laughing now

I know i'm no big jock .... but i play it all the time .... played it at Lowton last Friday actually. Fantastic record ..... LOVE IT!!
