  8. Didn't listen when Mike Raven was presenting, but when it came back early 70s it had a different presenter, whose name I can't remember , played a mix of everything. Notably though he used to do a call to the US every week to the R&b Stations for their top spins of the time-one of the DJs, whose name kinda stuck---E.Rodney Jones. And yes obviously Andy Peebles Soul Train on Piccadilly Radio, later taken over by Mike Shaft. ATB Tony

  21. Quick one though-anybody remember Patchwork shirts, not the ones that were printed "patches", but made from real patches sewn together?? Always wanted one. And yes--did have a printed one Oh, and while were at it, early 70's - polo shirts and jumpers and cardigans, the brand to be seen in was Slazenger-so much so that Salford Market did a "roaring" trade in sew 'em on yourself lion badges. Fred Perry was so 2nd division. Tony
