Album normally goes for about £30 - £40 , however due to the current downturn in albums you may be able to pick it up cheaper , you're acetate would probably go for £75 , in my opinion , nice find . I picked up an acetate recently of the Alice Clark album on Mainstream , no cover for $ 40 , typed sheet inside and mint condition , normal issue goes for £100 + , but like I said nobody collects rare albums at the moment, apart from me !!!!

With a wealth of local nights to choose from as well as a weekender happening every other month , what's been your favourite night / weekend away for this year ? Do you recommend any for next year or not ?

I've got this on a tape , bought it about 89-90 at Blackburn nighter, sounds like a guy in the corner of a working man's club banging out Frank Wilson !! , BUT it was a popular track at the time

I'd say a grand in the current climate , bargain at any price , BUT one day before xmas , OUCH !!!!

I'll keep my eyes open for you mate , bought an album for three figures from a reputable dealer in Japan , last month , it went to a guy in Sweden by mistake !!!! Thankfully the swedeish was honest and let us both know as the Japanese guy had lost details of the transaction by mistake , it restored my faith in fellow humans that one !!

Came across some tapes I forgot I had , anyway the records are Colin Laws first set of sounds in his glory days at Glenrothes / Edinburgh , etc ... , but alas no tracklist , , the record in question is a male vocalist and begins ...... Fire , Fire , Man With Burning Heart , Fire, Fire Man With A Burning Heart .... Oh Smokey , what's been happening in the forest today , Chorus Oh Smokey ,how do you save a man with a burning heart I have never heard this played out anywhere since !!!! Any ideas ?

I would say these three are gonna take some beating !!
