  12. Does anyone know if the white demos of Gwen Owens' Wanted & Needed 'jump' like some of the issues do? I've seen two types of issue what I'd describe as "narrow groove, high volume 'jumpers' " and "wide groove, low volume, but play through fine'" copies. Do white demos of both type exist?

  18. Apart from being a quick and easy way to access Refosoul tracks, it's actually a gateway to a massive on-line data base isn't it? I recently put a C60 tapes of 'unknowns' on the PC and manged to find the artist & titles to all but 2 from searching Refosoul. Although it maybe a little too late to have all the label, value and format fields completed, being able to drill down by them would be also very useful, can this be an option in Refosoul?
  19. I was trying to think of a record with the word sorry in the lyrics that Keb would have had around that time and the only one I remembered was the Topics - Have Your Fun. However, that was C/U as Phil Orsi and uncovered earlier. I found 2 of 3 tapes that Keb did for me, and on one is the Eugene Church, which funnily enough play a lot faster than the records do. The tape's labelled 'Keb Darge 60's Newies 17/5/85', compare the date of the tape and the Echo's article.
