You only have to take a look at the article Butch started on Soul Bowl and the prices on the lists attached. Records for a quid that are now fetching 1000's Who can honestly say they gave a shit about rarity in the 70,'s it was just about collecting the records you liked at the cheapest price possible.

Great Job Chalky (as always) with some fantastic photos too. It's always makes the job a hellva lot easier when the artists themselves have had the peace of mind to hang on to some of their own memorabilia. "I'll Never Stop Loving You" was one of Grapevine 2000's best sellers a complete sell out and it now appears to have become a furure rarity. I bet some of the people who turned their noses up at it when first released now wish they had opened their wallets quicker. Still recieving calls from punters and retailers alike but unfortunately the cupboard is now well and truely bare ! Great records always have their day and this has always been a great record Dave

Hi Guys Just to throw some intrigue in to the subject. I've just asked Jimmy Holland about the above theory that he and Jimmy Hart are one and the same ? He claims to have knowingly never recorded under the name of Jimmy Hart and upon playing him "Tea House In China Town" he claims to have never heard the record before (not even The Four Tops LP version) and assured me that it wasn't him singing. He's quite aware of "Sugar Baby" on Syco and Markie, which he recorded for Andre Williams at United Sound. The plot thickens !! Dave
