  9. A great record - if not with a traditional Northern beat Definitely collectable and two contrasting sides as you say Cheers Richard
  10. Hi Kev It's the Soul Twins - not Simms Twins on 1537 Plus number 1537 was used for the Soul Twins and the Capitols - two releases same catalogue number Cheers Richard

  14. Hi Bob I tried that link on your website and could not get it to play. It won't load properly. The other shows load OK though. Anyone else finding the same thing please? Cheers Richard

  16. You must be fu*kin joking Toad - please tell me you are - if not spill the beans Cheers Richard
  17. Matt - full credit to you and Adam then Real shame if much of the rest of the local scene is basically boots, legit reissues etc. Real shame as the thing that gets me excited about rare soul/Northern is the inherent authenticity - i.e. OVO - but if playing boots/reissues id the norm outside the big venues/big name DJs - it's basically just a sham - not 'rare' soul at all Cheers Richard

Never one of my favourites but no doubt this is proper Northern Can't understand why people would not dance to it unless as suggested it's a slightly forgotten oldie Cheers Richard
  19. That is one of my all time favourite records Cheers Richard
  20. I bought this Circa sleeve waiting to fill it with the rare Ann Perry West Coast Theoda copy - and had it for a few years before I managed to pick up a decent copy of the 45 to put in it. Click on the scan to see a larger size picture and the date stamp on the label reading Jan 1 1966 Cheers Richard

  22. Who told you that Bob? Have seen quite a few in company sleeves and it would seem strange if everyone had just matched up the sleeve to the 45 if it was just in a plain sleeve. Cheers Richard
  23. I have never collected acetates - but I quite fancied having a go at that one - glad I didn't wait around to bid though as that price was way, way over what I would have wanted to pay for it Cheers Richard
