  1. i had this listed at 25 for a mint demo 2 years ago when i was having a clear out , no one was interested swo in the end i traded it for 6 cdrs of 70s stuff i didnt know and then i bought some of those on 45
  2. 2 manship list 1 ,manship auction , 1 on ebay
  3. i may be wrong but it seems like theres alot turning up , been offered 4 in last month , its on my wants list but i now dont think its that mega rare , im sure i was told there was a box found and some sold for $15 before dealer realised
  4. also has anyone noticed that some records that look to have appeared in the big hall purchase from the states are valued alot more than they should be. i have noticed several copies of mind and matter and cautions on shrine appearing on auctions and ebay and lists if a dealer has 4 copies of rare record x valued at 800 pounds with more copies found then this value should decrease , but if someone wrote a guide saying they were worth 1500 he would be able to sell them for alot more , if he reduced the price he would be writing off money from the value of his stock. whens tim browns guide available? dave
  5. they said wednesday when i phoned on monday
  6. manships guide says the artist was never credited on genuine 7" acetates its the modern 90s boot with home made labels in my opinion the flip proves this - not related to the origional sound other than both motown tracks i may be wrong but i sold a copy on the boot label of this on the bay for 25 quid. anglo has this in stock according to the togetherness or manifesto mag , think its "reissued" on stardust not that it was ever truely issued on motown
  7. what about tammi terrell tears at the end of a love affair?
  8. its amazing how many stardust reissues that are still currently availably make big money on ebay now they have reissued francis nero and barbara mcnair along with the origionals suspision all available for around a fiver , these fetch large amounts on ebay for reissues. i sold suspision on a boot ecords 45 for £22 on there and can get a better sounding one from a dealer for lot less. it seams people still wont buy a price guide or a bootleg guide even though it will save them cash
  9. anyone got a soundclip of the slow version dave

  16. that gerri granger just tell him jane said hello is rubbish , just sold one in a collection of 13 sounds origs and boots on ebay for 25 quid.cant believe someone played this out i nominate futures party time man as a rescent play that i hate but my ultimate hate is that cartoon candy carnival instrumental thing i bought it cos its so bad for 2 quid
  17. good question and one i have had several answers to myself tracks like phillip mitchel im so happy , luther dont wanna be a fool , collins and collins top of the stairs are all much cheaper on the lps than the 45s and often found in better condition , is it alright to play these tracks out at soul nights from lps as they still are origionals. also nolan porter is half the price on the lp than the 45 , and demand for the 7" has put the price up whilst the lp has stayed about the same money

the pyramid sound is one of my favourite tunes of all time but it seems prices of this classic have gone up and up lately. i think its down to the fact its a bloody brilliant tune and no one wants to part with it , seen it go for £350 then up to as much as £500. its on the stafford story goldmine cd and was origionally covered up as mel britt our love will grow. whats the other stuff by soul bros inc like same sort of thing?
