Cashmeres On Ninandy
"Finally Waking Up" is an amazing uptempo 60s dancer in my opinion. It might not be as rare as their HEM disc but it very seldom turns up for sale. Actually, in my experience there comes along at least 5 copies of their HEM 45 for every copy of the NINANDY 45!

David Morris-Stoned On Love
A better version of what? Both the David Morris and Forris Woods 45s utilises the exact same version of "Stoned On Love". Different flipsides though. Is there another version as well?

The Chimes Beginning Of My Life
Write some insane amount (1000 for example) in the box on your "shopping cart" page where you specify how many copies you want to buy, when you click "Update Qty" the next page will state "You requested 1000 items, but only xx were available". I once did this with Parliaments "Don't Be Sore At Me" because I could use a couple of copies... I put 300 in the amount box and I didn't get a warning message. It turned out he had 327 copies in stock! He's now down to only 80... Edit: Tommy beat me to it.

The Chimes Beginning Of My Life
Indeed. Craig Moerer alone has got 21 M- copies on his site. Priced too expensive in my opinion at $35 each (£22), but at least it's instantly available to anyone who might be intersted: https://www.recordsbymail.com/search.php?keywords=86429

Clausel On Up Right

Ok To Dj With - Confusing Description
No, the records still sound like crap but high frequency hearing (treble) is one the first things that goes out the window when drinking alcohol. Most hiss, clicks and pops are in the upper/treble region of the frequency scale (5-20 kHz) hence they don't annoy you as much after drinking a couple of beers. I guess that's where "ok to dj with" comes from...

Ebay - Where's This Option Gone?
It nowadays costs extra to have .com items show up on the .co.uk site. There's an "international visibility" box that you have to tick on the last page before submitting the listing. Very well worth it though.

New York - Any Tips
That's probably why you get to look through his wall of records. I guess you have to build up some sort of trust in order for him to let you go back behind the counter. It was my first time there and he didn't know that I was prepared to spend a lot of money on records. Bob specifically told me that he "only" takes want lists. I perhaps shouldn't have taken that as literal as I did. Still managed to spend a couple of hundred dollars at his place and get away with a stack of tasty 45s... Wouldn't mind looking through his stock someday though...

Craig Moerer has got 5 copies in stock of the above (TEC 101) at $30 each: https://www.recordsbymail.com/search.php?keywords=346571 Don't know if the issue copy (TEC 770) has got the same version, but if it does, he's got a further 7 copies of that one at $8 each: https://www.recordsbymail.com/search.php?keywords=192417

New York - Any Tips
I spent 10 days in New York during November last year and didn't have any problems finding good records. The record stores are heavily centred around LPs/12"s but there were good 7"s to be found in all record stores that I visited and I brought hundreds of 45s with me home. No super rarities, but good, in-demand and sometimes very obscure records were easy to find in all stores. They have all got the various price guides and are generally very clued up on prices so don't expect to find Shrine 45s for $5... I did notice though that VG+/EX- type records were considerably cheaper than they would be on eBay/dealers lists etc. and I managed to pick up cheap scratchy-looking-but-good-playing copies of some rarities. All the stores I went to were willing to negotiate on prices if you spent more than $100 or so. As far as Manhattan goes, I'd recommend a visit to these stores: Academy Records 12 West 18th Street, NY 10011 (between 5th Ave & 6th Ave) Academy Records 415 East 12th Street, NY 10009 (between 1st Ave & Ave A) Big City Records 521 East 12th Street, NY 10009 (between Ave A & Ave B ) A-1 Records 439 East 6th Street, NY 10009 (between 1st Ave & Ave A) Gimme Gimme Records 325 East 5th Street, NY 10003 (between 1st Ave & 2nd Ave, only open fri-sat 13-22 and sun 13-19) Good Records NYC 218 East 5th Street, NY 10009 (between 2nd Ave & 3rd Ave) Sound Library 165 Orchard Street, NY 10002 (don't go here prior to 18:00/19:00) Strider Records 22 Jones Street #1, NY 10014 (usually only takes want lists and you're not allowed to look through his 45s, but ask for his boxes of northern soul) It's ofcourse crucial to have contacts if you want to get access to private collections/dealers. But as far as record stores goes, the above places served me well. Very friendly staff at all places as well. Have a nice trip and good luck!

Any Info On These Two Unknown (?) 45's?
David Hartfield has also got the following titles registered with BMI: "Let's Start Praising The Lord", "O Lord", "Just Gonna Be That Way" and "All The Way". Considering that, and the fact that WINNING STAR is registered with the following address over at BMI: WINNING STAR MUSIC 349 S 9TH ST RICHMOND, CA 94804-2405 ...it's not too far of a stretch that it's the same David Hartfield that nowadays is a bishop in the Free Light Of The World church in Fresno, CA: I might ofcourse be totally wrong about this though!

Any Info On These Two Unknown (?) 45's?
The artists/songwriters on this one are David Hartfield and Robert Hartfield (check out the "heart" in the label logo, and what looks like a "Z" is "f"). Don't know anything about it apart from that it has been suggested that it is by the same Hartfield Brothers that issued a 45 on BOOLA-BOOLA. Doesn't really sound like it though!
