  3. OMG ! People were dancing and enjoying themselves, whilst reissues were being played !!! How could this possibly happen ??? The northern scene is so lucky to have guys like you policing it. KTF
  4. Sadly some people haven't.
  5. Colin Curtis is very much at the forefront of the Modern soul scene in this country, still breaking new sounds as he did 40 years ago. Is this thread going to turn into another done to death OVO policy. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz 'Cameras over the decks to demonstrate the OVO policy' I suppose you could zoom in and check the matrix numbers too. Was it advertised as an OVO night ?
  6. Love the Sam Williams Singers 'For My People' track.
  7. Soul Sam has had CD only tracks cut onto carvers and then played them out.

  14. I'm presuming you're after the Album mix. The ones above are both the House mix. It's on Mca and you should pick one up pretty cheap. Great tune by the way
  15. 100% Pure Poison-You Keep Me Coming Back-EMI
  16. Just tell him you'll be leaving him negative feedback if he doesn't refund some of the postage costs. £6.86 is way too much to be charging for p+p
  17. It's a tough one, very sought after, rarely comes up for sale, when it does, it's normally around the £400 mark. It did get a release on a double lp, 'The Modern Soul Story Vol 1' on Soul Supply, That's not easy to locate now. Cheers Pete
