The guidelines are pretty clear I think, just the bits like stating sold as above. I’m sure there used to be a button ‘mark as sold’ but that seems to have disappeared and you have to go into the add a tag. I wasn’t aware of this for a while. The mark as sold tag would be more straightforward, but either way doesn’t work if you list multiple items with some selling and others not. Clearer titles would be a help. Not necessarily the artist etc, as that is difficult for multiple items, but something “indicative” at least eg Mixed list 60’s and 70’s or maybe Four modern soul 45’s. At least we know and can make a judgment. Had a situation where someone bought an item but didn’t give their address for postage as requested. No response after 4 days of PM’s and then resolved. Apparently buyer only visited the site occasionally. If you sell or buy make sure you check back regularly. We should have ‘ Dick Turpin ‘ button for some of the prices asked 😀😀😀

Thanks guys. I've checked my notification preferences and its all ticked as it should be. It could be they are selling quickly and being removed and I'm just missing it. The 3 records I checked all sold and the low, average and high selling prices are there and when the last sale was. One other thing I found out was when I received a notification on an item or items, there is also the "show all" underneath this. I've clicked this and saw that there were other wants for sale which had not been notified. So lessons learned ...dont just look at the item(s) notification ensure you "show all".

I started a wants list on Discogs around 3 years ago and as normal you get a notification when one of your wants comes up for sale……or so I thought. Checking my wants list yesterday I saw 3 records that had sold in recent months, all of which were on my wants list for various time durations. Some for 6 month others for 3 years. I didn’t recall seeing a notification for any of them, and I checked and confirmed this. I should say I check the site 2 or 3 times a day. Any idea what’s going on ? Am I missing something? Depends where you are in London. If you are central there are hundreds of decent / good restaurants to choose from. Best check out Tripadvisor as previously recommended. To be honest Trev the issue for me is the rudeness of some of the wants posts. Half of them don’t say please, thanks or any kind of courtesy. There was one a couple of weeks ago that was really aggressive which I found quite odd. According to the internet importing from access into XL is relatively simple. There are instructions and tutorials including videos.

There is another guy does these videos from Texas but he goes after late 50's early 60's type stuff from thrift stores. Its interesting to watch but sometimes I find myself shouting at the PC as he goes past what could be some really interesting soul stuff. He does know a bit as one video he found a Ruby - Feminine Ingenuity, and he knew it was 'that northern soul which the UK guys like' 🤑

Loads of channels on Youtube from the LA guys. There are also numerous CD's issued by them and can usually be found on Ebay. And last of all try turning your Northern 45's over and playing the flip...you'll probably find some interesting group harmony / low rider stuff that you already have 👍
