  1. i saw this on a list or ebay or somewhere the last few days? just can't remember where exactly, I've had about half a dozen set sale lists come through this week, will have a look later when i get home & see if i can find who was offering one if i get time, good luck, great record.
  2. why on earth would he leave? everyone here is so chill, there's no dramatic or argumentive personalities at all? seems like a bit of a rash move to me?!
  3. keb seems to pull this move reasonably often, i've definitely seen him do it on two different occasions.
  4. can you not just order them off that ebay listing I posted? i bought mine at the start of the year from a local DJ store here in NZ. So you mean to say that they have stopped selling them?? That will really cramp my style when these ones wear out....... stupid Stanton, cheap for a reason I guess. Seems like a good time to ditch Stanton & go Shure (which is what most of mine are).
  5. like this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/Stanton-N500-Replacement-Stylus-for-500-V3-Cartridge-Factory-Sealed-213840-/390454804132?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5ae8eb7ea4
  6. I ordered them before (thinking I was gonna save some money) but was unhappy with the sound quality, it sounded distorted even compared to the old needles I replaced. I ended up ordering the newer rounder shape genuine Stanton ones to replace them with a few weeks later. So I didn't actually save any money at all
  7. I've never even heard of a Shure 75SC? What do they look like?
  8. this week's show, wish they'd fix the hum already https://www.ustream.tv/recorded/24809237
  9. Third Guitar seems real cheap, was it clean? Vikki Styles still has some demand it seems.
  10. must be clean (US VG++/UK E+ or better). without the picture sleeve is fine. thanks.
  11. must be clean (US VG++/UK E+ or better) thanks
  12. Musicor version smokes the Gates version. Also the version of "Dark End Of The Street" on the flip of the Gates 45 doesn't really blow me away compared to other versions of the track. All three of his Musicor 45s are devastating, one of my favorite artists. I think the hardest of his 45s for me to find was his first one on Lee John. I even have filed the Jimi Hendrix exploito LPs he plays on. I love Lee Moses.
  13. missed this post the first time round, very cool, good to spot Vince & also catch a glimpse of Netti having a dance as well
  14. The scene here in New Zealand is small & semi-dormant
  15. the are continually updating their copyright infringemnt bank so the would have just cross checked a new sound wave profile against existing stored files. it's gonna get tougher & tougher.
  16. really? i never paid attention to the possibility of this
  17. new studio seems to have a hum coming from somewhere but anyway here's the recording of this weeks show https://www.ustream.tv/recorded/24641759
  18. 46 of the rarest soul/funk 45s to come from the most miniscule independent labels with facsimile label artwork. 108 page hardback book. MP3 download. Label art 45 adapters. All housed in a retro, vinyl-covered, embossed carry case. Looks incredible. A no brainer purchase for people who love 45s..... Watch the saga unfold https://www.numerogroup.com/eccentricsoul/ I can't wait
  19. cool thanks for this, couldn't use soundcloud (which has a download option) because of the copyright on the more famous tracks I included, so I had to use mixcloud which doesn't have a download option.
