After another great night in April albeit without Andy he is back with Wayne shed Butterworth and myself joined by the travelling Italian stalion Marco Arreghini, a good friend of ours and a top dj to boot we start at 7.30 ,large wooden dance floor ,reasonable bar prices ,bus stops right outside the venue and we play right across the board soul from northern to club classics all on vinyl see you there

Packed at the last one a big thanks to those who made it ,this month its a welcome to dentons got soul dj and friend of us all here to Ray the soul man playing his wares to suit the dance floor, and from sunny Wales we welcome back David Fairclough joined amicably by Wayne Butterworth and myself ,its a 7.30 start £4 otd large wooden dance floor talc allowed ,bus stops right outside the venue playing on vinyl Northern Soul, motown and club classics See you on the night

After a brilliant turn out on our first event here we are back with another one deejays on the day Wayne 'shed' Butterworth from the Shedfull o soul & the Carlton club,Andy Reedy from the same 2 venues both have knowledge of the scene beyond their respective years ,little George Williamson who moved to Scotland to find he couldn't understand Dutch so he's moved back George likes his modern so expect a varied set Marco Arreghini well this Italian matcho man has played all over with varied sets he does run his own events in the Manchester area music wise he can mix with the best then there's me so dj wise you have a varied mix to keep the floor busy ,talc allowed,£5 otd ,large car park huge wooden parquet floor music vinyl only see you at the bar Please note this is a cash only event thank you

just interested what/which none soul books are people if any are reading at the moment,i am in the middle of 2 Rick Buckler That's Entertainment (The Jam) which is a warts n all on the start the middle and demise of the mod band whilst he does keep praising the modfather its a really interesting read on life from behind a drum kit ,the other more out of my youth trainspotting is Bradshaws Handbook inspired obviously through the tv programme but the detail of this mans excursions are second to none from john o'groats to lands end there is not much he missed ,down side is the writing is very small par for the course i suppose but well worth the money to purchase happy reading folks

Excellent attendance last month so many thanks to all for coming In your numbers and to our guest john Green for his set ,this month we have promotor of soul 4 hereos himself Graham john Anderson on the decks with the usual trio of Wayne 'shed' Butterworth, Andy Reedy and myself £4 otd bus stop right opposite the venue large wooden floor and music to appreciate with mixtures of northern,motown club classics and more .....laters 7.30 til 12
