  2. my collection (or most of it) is on purpose built shelves in a room with the turntable etc, i reckon i play something everyday to a greater or lesser degree, i still have everything i bought from way back and still get great pleasure from them. one thing i like is finding something you forgot you had and the feeling of serendipity that gives! (i know, sad bastard )
  3. pretty sure Greety once shut his recod box lid on the salvadors and snapped it in half

  8. bought my soul pack around '79 when the price had increased to £12.50 for 100, still a bargain and wished i'd bought more, listed a few below that were in it, still got them all, not bad for 12.5 p each millionaires "you got to love your baby" fletcher walker III "guess i'll never understand" variations "i wanna take you uptown" yvonne baker "i can't change" lee sain "i can't fight it" carlena weaver "jealousy" buckner bros "love you from the bottom of my heart" albert jones "up to the sun" richard starr "love is not a game" tina britt "who was that" betty wright "man of mine" paragons "oh loving you" ISSUE!

  15. i was the bloke with the problem and it's sorted now!! a couple of you have got it right!, it was a combination of the track run out grooves being very short and the tonearm fouling on the side of the fluid dampner container, as this is an optional bit of kit i removed it and problem solved . Fair play to Pete Smith for his cooperation and great service on this matter
