"I Dont know"...a super vocal group tune..2 different versions ..the writing credits suggest New Orleans.....(Roland?) Barrosse....(flip of the PM 45 is co-wrote wih Mac Rebennack...which is a good tune too)...DCP (Don Costa)...would suggest New York (same as Bunky)......the vocals on the PM side sound just like the Esquires.....anyone have any info /opinion ?

years ago i had one of the boots which did have the "smudged" red lettering......it was in a box in my local record shop along with other boots like Bobby Guitar Wood on Colt..

does anyone remember Sailor Vernon's"Sailors Delight" Blues fanzine in the 80ts?.....it was a good source of cheap soul 45s...(although he was somewhat disparaging about them)......it was a laff as well......very entertaining........heres a sample Sales page......i rang up for number 5055 but it had gone.......

i must admit i'm guilty of this..UK/Foreign(particularly if with a nice pic sleeve)/US....I know Tim A had all the diff label variants of Velvet Satins for example....anyone else do this sort of thing?....heres one of mine....super soul tune .......
