Soul Inc - My Proposal
Cecil Washington joined this site a few years ago. His quote "Only very recently did I become aware that "My Proposal" had so well received. I wrote it but also helped with singing it. My voice is the one that comes in with the harmony"

He's got it back up for sale. Was it a "Buy It Now" auction as it doesn't show the number of bidders. He wants reporting and negative feedback leaving.

Is there a link to the sound clip ?, can't find it. I listened when the auction was live and i reckon Freddie South is actually Freddie Waters. Would like to listen to it again.

Mcarthur On Brown Dog
Yes i meant spotting that the voices were the same. I've just been listening to The 21st "The Thought Of Me Losing You" and McArthurs "It's So Real" and i'm certain they're the same singer / group. Is McArthur a group name then, i just presumed it was the name of the singer. I've said on here before that i'd enquired if it was McArthur Munford from the Spellbinders but it wasn't. So the guy singing is probably Willie Jones. Thanks for the info Bob.

Mcarthur On Brown Dog
Well spotted Bob. I was trying to find out who McArthur was but couldn't come up with anything. The Joy and Brown Dog 45s have the names Terry / Terrell on them.

Dean Andersons Radio Show- Gilly As Guest
Great show, only listened to part one so far. Gilly played a song (39 mins in) about a DJ named Gilly and he mentions the group the Avons. The voice was familiar to me and after a few listens i think it could be Freddie Waters. He had the second release on the Ref-O-Ree label, the first release being by the Avons but they are a girl group. Freddie Waters & Eddie Frierson joined the label after leaving the Hytones. They sang a few things together then Freddie went solo. I think this could be Freddie & Eddie with the Avons as backing. The recording came from Ady Croasdell and i know Kent has the rights to this group of labels. Anyone think it sounds like Freddie ?

Going Rate For These Two Records?
Why would i want to do that ?. I've never seen this anywhere near £700. See what the one on Ebay finishes at, it'll be a small fraction of £700. Edit - M- condition, finished at £39.

Going Rate For These Two Records?
The book price of the Marquee Revue is stupid. I'd be suprised if you could sell it for 100. I had a couple of them and i've seen loads more. Don't believe dealer hype.
