  8. I have often listened to Christine Cooper Heartaches away and the simliarities between this and Stop in the name of love and Nothing but heartaches to me are stark. Just looked and Christine Cooper is AFTER these two tunes. Just wondered if there was some element of copying going on here? Are there any obvious links that I have missed?? Just thinking out loud really. Any views would be good.

  10. Wonder what the value of it on Spanish HIT is now?
  11. I would say it IS original, since you have a boot with the wider run out groove as well.
  12. Is not the run out groove very wide as well on the boot.

This lot is worth it for the Bobby Womack LP Womagic. Tremendous track Cant you hear the children calling. I have been playing that for about 17 years now. Great tune IMO.
  14. I think Will Collins Anything I can do Bareback was released in 1977. I THINK!
  15. Thought it was supposed to be GOLD?? Just from memory of seeing RS copy.
  16. I use my proper name BUT every so often I get called Foggy which was my nickname for years when I lived down in Bedford. Winnie contacted me via Foggy, took me back I must say. Not really sure how I became Foggy, maybe cos my surname is not common? Maybe because in the 60,s there were 2 footballers called Foggo and Foggon ( I think). Maybe a derivative of that. Still all good fun. Steve Foran
  17. Could I have Benny Troy if you still have it please? Thanks Steve
  18. According to JM guide ( 3rd edition) Originals have either red/black labels or white DJ copy. Made in both styrene and vinyl. BUT the bootleggers kindly did their copies with SKY BLUE labels and GOLD lettering. So I think yours is correct AND looks like my old copy that I sold about 15 years ago. Hope that helps.
