Soul Patrol-Nol/syr-A Definite Answer?
Gonna revive this cause I was looking to buy a yellow issue off Pete smith, and put the brakeson, but remembered this thread. So, to add to the three labels above and delta info from Chalky. ------ So the matrix/delta details for the demo read S-100-X-X-REPL MR delta 87770 S-101-X MR - delta 87770 Dating that one at April/May 1972. Then these two, later press?

Oasis Market in B’ham closed due to safety issues.
Loved the Rag Market, Reddington's in the subway before hurst st, from Moore street station, he had some bits in that shop soul wise, mainly pressings, they always had loads of Heavy Metal T shirts outside on boards and god knows what else.. good memories..

Oasis Market in B’ham closed due to safety issues.
Yeah Andy, unfortunately B'ham city centre is not what it was in the 8ts / 9ts, its soul seems to have been ripped out of it, all the markets are gone, but it does have a chocolate fancy as a library...! I should add I dont live there any longer, but places like Oasis were part my youth, and allot of others, back when the Outrigger was king (3rd pic down, right of the picture), SKOL beer was wrapped around the Rotunda, and fashion was £29.99 a go! * Picture of the 37 on there, dropping off at St Martins church! I lived on that bus, that was going up town.... and the RAMP! that was the Ramp for me...as it was en route to the record shops from Moore Street... lol, not the one by New street station / McDonalds.

Oasis Market in B’ham closed due to safety issues.
Just learnt this. Oasis Market in B’ham closed due to safety issues. What’s that got to do with Soul? well numerous people had record stalls selling soul in the depths of the market, Steve Glover traded there for years, Graham Warr has sold records from there to loads of folks on the 7th soul scene, and If you were after any MOD gear in the early 8ts, it was a place to get good fashion. Long live Oasis Market https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/whats-on/whats-on-news/oasis-market-birmingham-wont-reopen-31320120

Grapevine Singles / Happy Cats / Unknown Artist Version
Sorry, bit off topic, but in a good way. You know what, I never linked this track to the one Mr Fine wine put out, probably because I never listen to the grapevine 45 by the Happy cats. My notes say from 2 acetates recorded by Morris Last in Detroit in the 60s. So question, how does that version link to the Happy Cats? Or is 'Happy Cats' just a made up name....

Auctions feedback…Ughh
Very true, I have sold loads of my collection in the last 4/5 years, lots left to keep me going, but having sorted everything out, as to what to keep, and what to sell, guess what? most of the records that make my 'liver quiver', and were to keep, were as we say in collecting terms 'Cheapies'!

Kent Soul - For DJs Only Promo Lp - 1996
Wow, thats allot of money, £550, Some members on here, some years back, really took exception me to stating this was worth allot less than was agreed on the thread, I cant remember how much, but justification came my way not that long after when I picked one up in a Glastonbury record shop of all places, not mint by any stretch, but for £60 quid. Great lp...
