oh right, simple... with allot of tracks it can be tricky though, I just got a UK Darrell banks issue on Stateside of Pete which I never know came out on London American over here, not surprising cause I collect Aussie outside of yank releases, but I expect you would you all consider those both original releases? to be honest I always plumb for originals, unless personally they are presses of tracks I bought in the eighties cause I had no money, so Mike Post on Soul Beat for example, or Alfie Davidson on SOS, in allot of cases they look far cooler that the orig release and simply take me back to being 16 and skint!... now I'm older i can afford to buy the original, but I like to play the reissues at home... sorry mate not answered your question has it.... mal

sorry, timid boy at the back here...........whats OVO mean??

This is a recent one for me, and not in the vein of the above, not a out and out dancer and I did not know it before I saw / heard the Kent reissue of it, But Tommy Tates's - 'If you gotta Love Somebody' is absolutely mind blowing!!! and its like that every time I play it... WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mal.C

June Jackson, or HJ Jackson is a guy I've always wanted to contact, obviously cause of his Musette brace of 45's, i was told by Greg Tormo that he had spoken to him in the 8ts early 9ts maybe, but other that that June's just a name on one of my favorite records... add Daphine Williams to that list, I tracked down loads of the Yodi people some years ago, label owner Alan Merry, Gus Thornton, Sharon Clarke, Mark Swansa and I was told Daphine was living in Texas, But that's as far as it got, he was supposed to be a bit of card according to Sharon Clarke. mal

Shaddows- Together Again - United Audio-Value Please?
Mal C replied to Chris Anderton's topic in Look At Your Box
Blimey as much as that...? yep I'm gonna have a moan about prices again, and state I paid allot less, and I did £150 and that was not long ago either.. Hey Ho, some you pay allot on, some you don't........... I do remember hearing this announced on Richard Sterling show, think Shifty brought it in, and he announced it as 'the Shaddows' with two D's, and I thought two D's was the singer, until I saw the label of course... mal.c -
I think we can assume some dealers will come in for it at the eleventh hour Mark, and make the seller very happy, then in turn throw it over to John Manship, make him very happy, and the final buyer; well out of pocket, but very likely, very Happy... Mal.C

Especially like the Monster Mash on Aussie Demo, as well as these that generally get your Aussie collectors drooling.

May have mentioned before, but some years ago I was in Miami on my birthday, Liza and I went shopping, I got nothing but she brought bags of cloths back, anyhow feeling a tad put out about this, with a smile of course we nip into a coffee shop and the moment we sit down with our drinks on comes Spiral Staircase - More today then yesterday; made my day that. however although its not know over here on the oldies stations, they do play it over there as it got in the national charts I think.. Mal.C

Christ I've been after this for a long time, took me 4 or so years to even learn what label it was on... Good luck my friend, you will need it, as for Eunice Collins, they are about. I'd have to credit Samantha with putting me onto these two brilliant records... spot on as always.. M
