  4. This turned up on YT 3 weeks back. Few other acetates on there the poster says are unreleased. No idea who David Solar is, anybody heard of him? Pat Caldwell aka Rockie Brown (Penntown), was as far as I can tell, primarily a writer, her name turns up in a few Philly productions, and there is a song called 'Go Away', which is by Pat Caldwell, and sounds exactly like 'Rockie Brown' to my ears, was included on 'Philly Soul, Vol. 2: More Phil Gaber & Impact Sound Productions 1962-1974' Chap who posted this up, states there are a few other recordings out there use this backing track, we have two, anybody know the others? Good stuff

  7. Think it's Malcolm Hayes on Filmways Stateside, an ok version IMO, Emma Reade wins that one hand's down. Have attached a BBC disc interview from 1966, with Keith and Billie, really good stuff. They both do 'When you move you loose' which is great, Billie sound's really good on that, and Billie also sang, amongst lots of others, 'Whatcha Gonna Do' a Chuck Willis song, on Columbia... real thumper that one... Billie Davis & Keith Powell BBC Session January 1966.mp3 Isnt the big Buckinghams one, or Northern flavored one 'Don't You Care' / USA records ? I have a NZ one, need a replacement Oz one, if anybody has a nice copy?

Five Of Diamonds - Good Morning Blues / OAK Blues By Five - Boom Boom / Decca also Jack Hammer, he wrote and did so much great music, but did he do a few covers in there? maybe hidden on an LP... Petula Clark - Heart, now this was Released 1965 in UK on PYE and in Oz, asnd as I collect Oz stuff, hense scan, anyhow to my ears is a influence for Holly Saint James on ABC, as you can see carries 'Hatch' so obviously Tony Hatch in the writing credits,, anyhow take a listen, tell us what you reckon? and finally, maybe some of your experts can answer this, Virginia Vee - No, No No... french only written and sang, love this track, but Ive never worked out where it's from...
