London silver top question
Both labels look to have been stuck on at the manufacturers.

London silver top question
This has just arrived in the post. It has the silver top on one side and box on the other. Anyone seen this on other London releases? At the moment I don't know whether to keep it or send it back. I bought it expecting It to be a first issue of Secret Home but I am guessing that it is the later release with an old 20-75 label used.

What's your Best Buy of 2016
Errol Dixon - I want (M-) on Rainbow for £13.50 off eBay.

Jimmy Thomas - Mirwood
I have just bought a vinyl M- copy that matches the description plus it has a stamped MR circled. I have compared it to my other Mirwood records and I am sure it is an original. Monarch Delta 62554 dates it to July/August 1966 which ties in with the release date.

Intrigues "in A Moment"
The Turtles "she'd rather be with me" HLU 10135 came out on boxed. There is a scan of HLU 10135 Silver Top on 45cat but it does not say Made in England. HLU 10134 is silver top with made in England on the label. It is the Ragamuffins Four days of rain. Released 12th May 1967. I think this is the last Silver top made in England.

Collection Filing - How Do You Do It?
Me too. U.S.A. Releases seperate from U.K. All listed on an Excell spreadsheet. All original first releases together. Second issues and boots in another section. Any label that I have two or more of are together in number order. All in white card sleeves with a number on the sleeve. Control F finds any record in the collection on the computer. It's a bit time consuming at first but then easy to find anything when it is done.

M- copy on Discogs £15. Great sound.- Perfomers - I cant stop you-Black label
Matrix on I can't stop you side reads 68-3155 Re 5535 R1526. All scratched on the left hand side. Matrix on L.A. Stomp side reads 68-3156 5535. Scratched on the right hand side at the 2 o-clock position. I bought this about ten years ago and have always believed it to be an original as the JM guide at the time did not list the record as being booted. I would be interested to hear of other variations.- You don't see many of these
It just sold for $97.- 'Never Love A Robin' Tommy or Barbara & Brenda
Either would get me up and dancing. B&B is a great version with some real punch. Tommies is the earlier version and he does a great job. I have a copy by TH but not the B&B release. Sorry to see that the B&B version has been booted.- Ian Gee RIP
Very sad news. When Ian was DJing you knew you were in for a night of non stop dancing.- the adventures - easy baby
Are there two boots? One with CO-7010 and one with C222, both scratched in. My copy has black text, no radio station reference, C222 scratched in and no R stamp. I thought that it was a second issue or a boot. Can anyone confirm please.- Modern record label discography
1019 is Little Richard - Do you feel it/Do you feel it Pt 2 1035 is 17th Avenue Exits - A man can cry/I ain't gonna eat out my heart.- Modern record label discography
I am looking for a discography for the Modern Record label. Globaldogproductions, my usual source for discographies, only goes up to 1027. There seem to be some duplicate numbers, 1005 is used twice for instance.- Soul Source - 18 Years On The Road
Congratulations to Mike and the team.- Records Over 50 Years Old
I haven't seen a list like that but Manship has the release dates of records for sale and so does Discogs. Hope this helps.- Turntables with straight arms - how bad?
I had a Stanton deck like the one shown for a few years. It did no damage to my records but I have since changed to a Rega deck, this also has a straight arm but the geometry is better than the Stanton which is better suited to scratching.- Gillettes b-side
Nice tune. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dGusL4PMFh8 - Ric-Tic Demo price please
