  1. Yep as long as space allows as many as you can get in. But we all know all those in attendance know each other, are mixing and no social distancing. Enough phots on social media to prove this. as you say puzzling how they get away with it especially as they are running an event with more than 30 in attendance. 50 lots of 6 eating out or having a drink in their own bubble aren’t attending an event.
  2. You can have thirty in a pub, but in groups of 6 only and plenty of space between the tables. But I would imagine this is meant for eating out or just a group of 6 out for a drink, not 40 or 50 etc out for a soul night. That is how I read it
  3. It should be nothing more than background music, not a full set of decks and a DJ.
  4. You can only have spaced out tables as in a pub, no dancing and not supposed to be any music. It was only 30 at an event before
  5. Combinations and Main Change?

Hi Knocker, yeah same Phil Deakin I think, bloody nutter. Remember him a lot from football with Holmewood.
  7. Cheers thought it was one of Richards. I thought Dave bought it along with Chessmen etc.

Hi mate, hope you are well. Rat Deakin, was he from Holmewood?
  9. Dave Withers & Chris Plant at Stafford/Stafford era but could have been one of Richard’s first late Wigan. covered as both Earnest Mosley and Mel Wynn
  10. Mine arrived from Mark’s Nickel And A Nail last week. Great service as usual.
  11. But if it wasn’t recorded on an artist (bit confusing the pencilled her in bit) or released it then maybe it wouldn't have any publishing at that time?
  12. This one? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rare-The-Del-Tours-Sweet-And-Lovely-Starville-1206/233703176272?hash=item3669cb7850:g:rSoAAOSw0WtfU2AT doesn’t even look like a real one, no dip in label, wrong colour.
  13. Has anyone checked the sleeve notes for the Dave Hamilton cds? @Ady Croasdell

not that I'm aware of. May well be the odd carver out there
  15. Eye For An Eye is extremely rare though, much rarer than the one John auctioned although that one is pretty tough.
  16. As Dave says Stardom is July 67 with Kent December 1967. Bobby St James listed a year later December 1968. The Uptones on Watts was first in 1965.
  17. It has been around 1k in recent times, over priced at that IMO. For it to suddenly rise almost four fold is just barmy.
  18. All I can say is some of you don't know the UK scene as well as you think. If you think there will be much different you are seriously mistaken. Yes some clubs and pubs might shut but the promoters, long term and Johnny come lately, serious and divvy alike will find somewhere. There is plenty of evidence on social media of little change with people chomping at the bit with venues up and down the country up and running, out not following the guidelines and laws that are in place.
  19. Have to agree it isn't rare, stupid price really for a record that has had its day IMO, extremely over played.
  20. Kin ell that’s barmy. I’d have said a grand tops.
  21. Makes two of us Andy. Think you can trace where we are now back to the mid 70s. At least the 80s took it back underground.

Virtual Dj, you could change the pitch/speed of the vocal whilst leaving the backing alone. Used to be free.
  23. Divvyland? Don’t talk stupid
  24. Russ hasn’t claimed to be has he? It has been underground at other times though, not just the beginning. It will never return underground, its gone to far into divvy land, far too commercial. The nighter scene as we know/knew it is diminishing as the years pass and age creeps up on those left. But it doesn’t stop people getting misty eyed and yearn for what we once had.
  25. The scene will never go back underground with a hard core of dedicated broad minded soulies, quite the opposite. The scene provides a platform for the divvies, the ordinary and the idiots, people who would get no acceptance elsewhere getting to be someone just by splashing a bit of cash.
