  1. We don't know that really. The first wasn't mastered until 8th Oct so a month later in the mags would fit. The Blues So Bad side is maybe the one the promotion guys were pushing round the stations. There is nothing on either press to really denote A or B side.
  2. So it was getting some action and mentions late 1969, probably enough to warrant the second press.
  3. His second release was copyrighted Jan 1970 so not long between the releases. The first maybe sold well enough to warrant a second press in between releases.

Love this small club but everything else about it smack of a niter, the crowd, the music the Djs, fantastic. Angie and myself had a great night although I didn't think we'd make it after exhaust troubles on the way. AA soon on the scene, took the back box off and said on yer way All in about 30 minutes. We arrived to a full house which is often the case here. Missed my mate Simon because of said car troubles but there was a packed dance floor to Bob Hinsley and Robbo. So good to see Bob playing some records in a venue again and I hope it's not too long till he does it again. All the Dj's did the business, even had myself on the floor a few times. Baz Maleady doing what he does best, Matt bringing that hard edged niter sound to the Ukrainian and Chris Penn rounding the night off with some big hitters. Was great to catch up with so many., some I've not seen for ages, sat on the stage and had a good chat with Dave Evison who still seems as enthusiastic as ever. Great night, see you next month.
  4. Records recorded and mastered at Virtue often used the date for the catalogue number, as do the Uplook releases. Probable they were recorded and mastered at virtue, the metal work done at Tracy Val, pressed at Superior.....just a guess.
  5. any sign of Virtue in the run out as the second press info on discogs suggests Virtue is in the run out. TVC is the mastering company, they who made the stampers and who often used Superior Pressing plant located next door to them.
  6. I think that is mention for a Record World advert
  7. Images form Heeey Baby posted same time as @Soul-slider
  8. Discogs only has a date for the first release, 1969. I would imagine the catalogue number (10869) is the date of the press, Oct 8 69?
  9. The tracks weren't copyrighted until Sept 1969. I would imagine the first press was Oct 1969.
  10. They are denied membership or kicked out as soon as alerted on any group I am involved with. Some have also seen wants on here and contacted through facebook. They often have an alias they use to see the wants on facebook, it is a full time job tracking them and they are often a couple of weeks into the scam before they are rumbled. Facebook i that large not everyone can see the warnings.
  11. He is definitely a scammer. He has been flagged up other social media sites for a few weeks now
  12. But he has lived through the emotions in the lyrics he wrote
  13. They are not 100% AI, Colin did write them all. I think some of them are fantastic. Lenny and The illustrators and the Betty J are brilliant.
  14. Always thought it around the £1k mark. JC was massive for Andy Dyson at Lifeline, whilst not unknown it was rarely played anywhere before then
  15. That was only added to discogs after being posted here
  16. It is rarer on an issue but either issue or demo fetching daft money
  17. Good price for Jimmy Church.
  18. Dean Anderson Presents The Sound of Soul 7th November 2024 8pm till 10pm On this Sound of Soul just great music!! Join us the usual quality music and live chat here on this stream...
  19. Hopefully Matt will have this with him....
  20. OOPs I didn't see the date either
  21. Sad news R.I.P. Eddie and thank you for the music.
  22. There are quite a few bootlegs on Juno at the minute, some from those who were involved in the large operation that involved some time at her majesty's pleasure not so long ago
  23. Well she looks like she is "enjoying" herself on that sleeve 🫣🙃😉
  24. Before mid 90s mate, more like 90/91
