  1. I heard Andy playing it before Sam. I know Guy said he got a copy of the label owners in the early/mid 80s, but only played the instrumental flip.
  2. More Life 10 records, this week chosen by Tim Trapnell
  3. Yes mate, will be This Man In Love.
  4. thought it was earlier than that mate I'm thinking of the Empires I think
  5. not not legit Reconsider was about few years before this CD, 1992 first played
  6. Imperial C's Dave Thorley. New Wanderers is an oldie. Know there was an alternate acetate about mind with a different mix
  7. I wish I'd started in my 20s

There was a Disciples of Soul for 150 or so other day
  9. I do 30 minutes of yoga every morning when not at work, 4 or 5 times in an eight day stint.
  10. The 45 is nothing to do with Motown and almost certainly isn’t licensed
  11. Maybe. If mechanical like many plants then for each batch of labels they would generally be in the same place and therefore the stamp in the same place. You only have to read manships guide where he describes the place in hours for where the stamp is for some presses.
  12. If the labels are stacked identically as the usually are the stamp will be in the same place.
  13. One of the first releases, wasn't official so a boot, done to look genuine
  14. Simon Ingham & myself made an appearance on this weeks show.
  15. Last year I saw field after field of wildflowers, more than for many a year, nowhere near the same this year, the wet weather probably has a lot to do with it
  16. I recently moved and for a few months everything got ignored a little, going through the motions in the gym, no hiking. Now I'm settled back with at least one 5k run a week, back hiking and gym. Need to do some swimming too.
  17. Auctions are never the best gauge of any current price. It only takes two or three to get the red mist descend and it can go way out of control. Ebay many dealers and collectors no longer use it so again not a great idea of a current price and that is where popsike gets its results.you are forgetting the massive resource that is Facebook as well. Great history of sales on there in the various groups.
  18. Popsike doesn't tell the whole story regarding sale s of rec rods so cannot make a judgement about rarity going by sales on there
  19. How rare is it though, been plenty of copies sold over the years. It wasn't that long ago it was 3/400 quid. The price every time one comes up for sale since just seems to double. I can remember the bewilderment when it fetched about 700, then £1k. There is no logic to these prices.
  20. I'd have said £1500/£1800. Its sold for more than 1200 last few years

Are record companies running out of ideas, if it all doesn't sound the same it is inferior or no better than the original covers? Where is all the new dancers, it all seems to be walking pace low rider material or white acts trying to be black. Has all the unissued material dried up?
  22. Mark got the Delites acetate, Lifeline I think the first place he played it after getting it. Lebaron Strings was Guy, Jimmy Sherman was Andy Dyson
  23. I did edit one of the other releases but where they allow it is another matter
  24. I've tried to ad a real one on Discogs but it just says Caneil not a real label
  25. 🤣 I was sat having me dinner with the cab door over and I heard it at the side of cab, I'd never seen one that big before.
