As I said Ian, it wasn't too long ago you could buy Virtue blanks. Also Rob was a dab hand at making very good look-a-likes and he wasn't alone. Not many question acetates like they do issues etc

Wasn't too long ago you could buy original (60s) blank virtue acetates one places like ebay, and other if you looked around.

I find all those powered by usb are crap. Needs to be a proper tape deck IMO. The cheaper they are the nastier they are as well IMO. How many do you have to convert Steve. I can convert if not too many to save you splashing the cash?

I know someone who was playing this around 1968/69 off the Soul on the Rocks lp.

It was about years before but I don't think it was considered good enough or rare enough (not saying it is a bad record either) in comparison to what was about at the time.

Why didn't you share all this information in your initial post rather than ask why it was an alternate take, was it a withdrawn alternate take and how many was done. If you knew it was JJ Barnes why buy two copies, one to frame and the other to save wear on your Stateside copy

People have received the records as part of a sale though. Others have been deceived into buying counterfeits believing they were being sold an original. But because of someones history, because of what he has done on the scene then that is all ok then.

The few I had are either boxed up or given away. Are there any venue reports and such in them or is it all record talk?
