  1. The video doesn't actually do it justice cause when the band all licked in the whole place just bounced, simply fantastic.
  2. Sound mate, there's a few videos of his appearance at Leeds same tour o my youtube page........ Could Have Been was simply awesome....
  3. Eddie also appeared at the Yarmouth Weekenders.
  4. I've an early start so will only catch the first hour. Will catch up with the rest via podcast. Great artist, one of the best I've seen live.
  5. I'm Cumun Home? Original vinyl boots styrene and colours wrong.
  6. I not sure why bootlegs ever came into this topic as it is a totally different issue. Royalties go to whoever owns the rights and to the composer.....so if a record is booted someone is missing out.
  7. I would think just about every artist connected with this scene has received the credit that is due. I would imagine those records that are covered up they are so obscure that credit would probably never get to the artist concerned today. As for royalties, I doubt many artists bank balance is going to suffer because of a record covered up and I doubt unless the artist wrote and owns the masters then he will get nothing from any sale of a reissue. If some are so concerned about artists and their royalties then they should maybe get stuck into ebay and do something about the bootleggers who blatantly advertise their illegal wares.
  8. It's a 1970's Monarch delta number on the boot though.

  10. Andy D for some time now.
  11. It must be one of the rarest boots? Rarely see it or an original.
  12. Yes it is one of those with PB in the runout.
  13. I doubt you could source the ink these days and any paper would be some what aged and beyond its use I would imaging? It would be too much hassle, from forging the masters/stampers to sourcing the ingredients of the day, like I said the soul 45 collector aren't daft.

You sign up through your bank Bob, you don't give out your bank details to anyone, just your phone number. You don't have a problem with import duty and post office fees so doesn't affect you really. It is UK customers only at the minute and that is a lot of customers who currently use paypal. Most impotantly it is free

It uses the current system, lloyds will, rather boring name of Faster Payments Service...... Payments made via Pay a Contact are made using existing payment processes (Faster Payment Service). We don’t charge you for making or receiving payments through Pay a Contact, but your mobile operator may charge for some services (such as accessing the Internet) so please check with them. it is UK only it is free, i spend little to nothing in the States now so not too worried about international payments although I have sent money to Japan using my bank and that was free as well. Paypal will be forced to act over its charges because if this takes off they will lose a lot of business which won't be a bad thing in some cases.

I'm with lloyds and there is no or will be no charge with them. You pay via the lloyds mobile app. They say there might be a charge with your mobile supplier. Go to your banks website and look at the terms and the FAQ's. https://www.lloydsbank.com/online-banking/mobile-banking/pay-a-contact.asp
  17. I have a Neal Kimble, will be later in week before I am home to check. Did you get a Kim Tolliver? Might have one of those too.
  18. Proper Gent is Ian, top man & Top Dj!

That looks about the gist of it, log into paym and enter the phone number and details, far quicker and easier. It is an alternative to paypal who like ebay only seem interested in charges.
  20. Thanks for the comments Geoff, appreciated and nice to get a bit of feedback. There's a fair bit amongst this lot still widely unknown and something for DJ's to look through.

Not strictly soul related so please feel free to move to FB if you wish Mods? https://www.paym.co.uk/?gclid=COvc47LAzL0CFcHnwgod5kUAZQ Anyone going to be signing up for this, could take a lot of business in the UK away from paypal.
  23. You would struggle to reproduce vinyl, paper and especially the ink to the specs of the 60's original. Most techniques and materials have changed since then, particularly with paper and ink. The return couldn't be justified given the time, effort and expense you would have to put in. Not saying it couldn't be done, just highly unlikely. They would quickly be spotted as well, not a lot get's past collectors and dealers, not for long anyhow.

  25. We never got that far, it was just chats via Skype really at first. I set up a t date to do a proper interview two or three times but something always got in the way over there. Then he was moved. I'm waiting for my initial contact with him to try and sort something for me to do a proper interview and get his story out there. In the mean time here they are and their names......
