You need to get the tapes transferred to digital. We need to hear them. There are some on here who might be interested in getting them out either on CD or vinyl.

The Caressors
Sounds to me like he just repeats "I Can't Stay Away" but with more emphasis on the "Can't"? Doesn't sound like he's swearing to me, certainly doesn't sound like what Aid suggests.

The Eldorado studio acetate, apart from being a little faster is there any other difference? Is there an extra instrument throughout?\\ Anyone got a scan of the acetate?

Well I don't know what all-nighters you go to but uptempo and dancers is what many want now, not mid-tempo.

Sheridan's, Dewsbury
I can remember when Al came out of the back with this hoover strapped on his back and some sort of head gear, he thought he was a stormtrooper off Star Wars I can also remember when he put some sort of nappy on and he'd got this shopping trolley from somewhere and once in he couldn't get out....remember opening the fire doors and sending him down the road

Sheridan's, Dewsbury
We ran two or three (forget the exact number) all-nighters when it was under the Asian owners. It became clear it wouldn't work because of how far downhill the venue had become. It wasn't the smartest place before but they practically stripped it and it was no better than the industrial building it was originally intended....it were f*cking freezing during the winter months. Roof was leaking, pipes leaking, bogs a proper sh*t hole, the ladies refused to use them at one point I think, no toilet seats etc. They had to use the blokes and have someone on the door when they went in!

How Do You You Like Me Now - The Heavy....interesting Record
They did the theme tune for Strike back, "Short Change Hero". Think Ellie went and downloaded their stuff when she heard this.

Pete Waterman Northern Soul
Just listened to the show, interesting, nothing haven't heard before though from the media but interesting non the less. I would have liked him to visit the all-nighter seen of today though to see how it is today and not rely totally on overplayed oldies.
