  5. Cheers George. I'm not sure anyone is any the wiser who it is, Rod said it was Holland, Dozier, Holland so went with that. It is on the old tape listing as Holland and Dozier. Maybe Robb K or Rod can shed a bit more light on it. There is a Jimmy Ruffin track of the same title.
  6. Cheers Simon, had found the details. Any info on the Bobby Sanders?
  7. I've found the Cassadons Des, I was missing an "S" in my typing, you'd thing the internet would allow for this Cheers Derek, that is what I was thinking too but need to be sure.
  8. Casadons I'm after the label info. Wonder if the Bobby Sanders is a cover up? Chuck Flamingo maybe.
  9. Any info on these two......my brain is mush, it's been spending to much time on the computer. Casadons - Two Sided Love Bobby Sanders - Lost my Chances
  10. Sunday morning, time to get your feet up with the Sunday paper and listen to the latest instalment of the Stafford Story. Once again the spotlight is on Dave Withers and Rod Shard with some more great records from the early 80's. Most still in demand today, some forgotten about and some no doubt still unknown to those who kissed the 80's altogether. This second set form Dave and Rod has taken 6 attempts to finish, I kept f*cking it up, twice in the last couple of tracks So I hope it was worth it Next it will be the turn of Gary Rushbrook so keep checking the site https://www.soulunder...k/StaffordTOTW/

    More sad news. RIP Howard.
  12. Not that it really matters but The Swans was actually issued, only ever seen and know about the one copy though.
  13. The record is extremely rare so why shouldn't it generate a decent sale price? If it was better known it would be a lot more.
  14. No t on the subway and not soul but there is a rock n roll group who busk in Chesterfield who are really good, always draw a large crowd.
  15. his name and address is on the listing, business seller information, click on contact details, he's from Pett in East Sussex, unless that is a pseudonym?
  16. I know plenty of dealers with unplayed stock, some of it never out of the sleeve it was originally put in so I don't know how you can say no such thing. Depending on the environment it has been stored in plenty of them clean as a whistle too, some of it like Ian says dusty.

There should be two parts to the Ron Murphy one, it should start right at the beginning with cutting of the acetate to making the master to pressing the vinyl etc. Look at the links down the side from same channel.

taken out back and raped by two big guys wonder what the DJ thought if he read this?
  19. I don't understand the use of YT clips when you can use mp3 clips in sales. They are a pain to load when viewing with a mobile device and I tend to ignore the topic when they are loaded with YT clips, loss of potential sale.
  20. Fantastic bit of work Dave and Sebastian. Some great info there.
  21. 65? some young uns there then

  24. What's The Use In Me trying was the side at one time, no one wanted the Let My Heart.. side then.
