  1. They do but it is out of stock but if you use the 4 new or used (or whatever number it is) link, go to the Book Depository they have it in stock, Uk based used them many times in past. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Man-Behind-Music-Legendary-Davis/dp/0983131724/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1308854401&sr=8-1
  2. Hi Dave Try a quick search as we have had a discussion on spring and discography before. Think Richard (Premium Stuff) may have started it, could be wrong on that bit though.
  3. There are a few takes of Suspicion though, the one very similar to the boots that also appeared on CD's. The one that appeared on the This is Northern Soul cd and John McClure has a take more early 70's orientated. There is a mix in refosoul about 5 minutes long with few different takes.
  4. The legit Motown remix of Lonely Lover has the sh*tty synth's in it though, terrible. Flip to The World Is X-Rated. The Advance boot of Suspicion is at the right speed isn't it?
  5. Another clever tw*t. What's your f**kin problem? Don't and never have claimed to be a expert on anything it's just f**kwits like you trying to be clever and score a few points. If nothing to say about the topic then don't bother. If you
  6. I'm not Dave so no need to be smart, you will notice I used the word presume. The ones like Rimini, Bamburg and few others are well populated and known about by Brits.
  7. Some Euro events simply don't want the wider UK soulies at their events. Others I presume they are well attended anyway so they feel no need to advertise over here. Those that are popular haunts of the Brits are well known about anyway.
  8. I asked Spyder from the horses mouth if it is or isn't him singing "YGEFM" and he said from the horses mouth it is him singing the track.
  9. Looks as you say a must buy Tony Tried to attach the rear of the CD but must be something up somewhere due to the move. Anyway it is available from Amazon... BUY AT AMAZON
  10. Another compilation I was looking forward to and I wasn't disappointed either, had several plays this week. Great to see all she's done for Motown and Capitol together in one package. Just got to find the time to read the sleeve notes which are up to the usual Kent standard. About time these were all put into one book
  11. Picked this up same time as Candi Staton and got to say big thumbs up to Tony and Keith for a great compilation Had the Lp for years and couple of the unissued tracks for sometime as well but it is great to see everything on one CD. It's had 3 or 4 plays this week. Why tracks like "It Only Happens When Love Is Gone" and Show Me You Can Dance" were canned is beyond me, both as good as many tracks that did see the light of day! These two tracks highlights why Northern venues should have a cd player They deserve to be heard
  12. Picked up my copy at Cleethorpes and it's been played via the ipod several times during the week and got to say it is a fantastic compilation. Can't listen to Jolene or Stand By Your Man though as not good records full stop!!! But the rest is class!! Well done lads and keep more like this coming. Enjoyed all the Fame artist comps so far
  13. No need for two topics for three 45's. Merged the two and edited the topic title.

I would have thought so. The track won't play either, well it won't here. And if it's the one I'm thinking of it is the worst take of the lot.
  18. Wouldn't be so bad if the DJ's of the future turn up when you book them! We booked two for Lifeline, Paul Barker played some fantastic stuff and I'd certainly recommend him to other promoters!!

I though it was out of the bag so why keep guessing? I wish it was a box of JLTW by Mill Edwards, the one Butch has, by far the best vocal for me.
  20. I use really useful box for storage. They do one that hold about 100 and one that hold about 200. Tough plastic and easily stackable. Last longer than the card type boxes. You can even get them in different colours https://www.reallyuse...p/rub_music.php
  21. Arthur Fenn has a nice clean copy for sale.

The records been discussed a few times on here. Ady Croasdell had the record very early on and Searling had it at Wigan. There's a scan somewhere on the site.
