It was that when I looked this morning.

Cellar Full Of Motown Volume 4
What's wrong with an alternate mix? There's at least two of Suspicion that are more than worth a cd outing. One has a more 70's flavour to it, wah wah guitar etc. I don't want to do your job for you but I can think of an unissued Versatiles played out by Chris King, Steve Green and myself a Contours I play out (Rob Moss found it). A GC Cameron I've had for a few years but rarely played it out, maybe two or three times. A couple by Ivory Joe Hunter ("Where Were You" being one of them). I must have 50 or 60 unissued Martha Reeves at home with at least a couple of decent ones in amongst them that have never featured anywhere.

Bird Walking
It was revealed on Soul Source not so long ago who it actually is, Shirley Turner.

Your'e My Everything, Naked
Greatest group ever and this line up is THE Temptations. Just not the same when Ruffin, Kendricks and Williams no longer part of the group. Cheers Dante

Price Differences On Sales
to some it doesn't, many list vg+ for what a minter should go for and plenty pay mint prices for vg or vg+ condition discs.
-
Price Differences On Sales
no it isn't, it just gives you an indication and doesn't list everything that goes through ebay. Auctions are not a true representation of the price, an auction usually comes down to two individuals and and all logic often goes out of the window.

Value Please: The Moments 'you Said' On Deep
Been a few lately kicking about so would think book price bit ambitious. Would agree with DT, £900ish.

Ebay Scam
maybe in ebay sales or subsection of?

Saturday Night-Sunday Morning 30 Minute Spot
Dave, you have a lot of good to say and plenty of knowledge to share but how you write your posts it may as well be in Chinese at times. When you leave no spaces after commas (usually one space) and full stops (usually two spaces) and highlighting everything you write makes it as others have said difficult and people just give up reading. Try leaving a space and setting your text out in paragraphs, leave the caps locks off and don't highlight or make all your text bold, it will be a lot better for everyone. I'll edit your original post for you a little later to show what I mean.

Nat Hall Or Willie Mason - Why
I would agree with above, Willie Mason pales into insignificance compared to Nat Hall IMHO. And as Mace says you get the bonus of the flip, similar in style.

Soulboy - The Movie. You've Seen It So . .
I doubt they dare say anything to Keb? Have you noticed no one puts a name to posts like these? Keyboard warriors hiding behind a moniker

Funky Northern
Has the Fred Williams had any exposure outside of small side rooms? It was played at Lifeline by George but it was earlier on. The record is fantastic but like you say the pace is too slow.
-
Funky Northern
I'm good Nev, likewise I hope. Gotta agree with you and know this is more for the funkier stuff, but as we were talking about Wally Coco and Flourentine I thought I'd mention Clay Brown Some of the funkier stuff is good, some of it second rate and think at the end of the day if the 60's stuff was still being found much of the funkier edged stuff wouldn't get a look in.
-
Funky Northern
Think the same as you Dylan. Pretty average as far as a record goes but it goes down well with the dancers and that's all that matters really. Much prefer the Clay Brown on the same label, Why You Want To Change, that is a good record!! IMO of course!

Tim Harris, Les Mack & Impacts
I would say they are all tough to find but out of them all the Timco release would be the easier one to get.

Cellar Full Of Motown Volume 4
The 6x6 vocal isn't very good at all Ian, in fact it is pretty bad. There is a previous topic about this and John Pugh has an input top the topic too.

Cellar Full Of Motown Volume 4
plenty have seen and heard the acetate in question, some very knowledgeable collectors at that so why doubt what some are saying simply because you (and some others) haven't seen or heard it? It isn't very good mind

Tim Harris, Les Mack & Impacts
thats at least two for sure then, missed that one. Sure to be others but it is rare on that label.
-
Funky Northern
It was probably Sam who spun it at Lifeline, he has been spinning it around the country for a while, as have a few others.
-
Funky Northern
like you say Paul depends on the venue, the atmosphere and the open to something different the crowd is. George set pretty well received at Lifeline when we was at Bidds, doubt it would be received as well elsewhere at 4.00am, not a full hour anyway. I doubt a full hour of this would be well received at any all-nighter at this moment in time, not in the main room?

Tim Harris, Les Mack & Impacts
The Menzola release is a one known copy isn't it? Seen a few of the Timco ones.
-
John & Wierdest
When they were done originally there was I think only Half a dozen with the date on them. Like Darren says when they first appeared some went for a lot of money, one or two thinking they were real.
-
John & Wierdest
The ones with the date is the rarer boot ;-) They was done around the same time as the others you mention but not by the same person, would be around 1990?

What About Me
Think it's always been one of those Ian that has been bubbling away under the surface for want of an expression but never really had its day. Like you say maybe now is the time but somehow doubt it unless someone like Butch plays it then everyone will want one to play So many good tunes bubbling away under the surface but too many DJ's lack any imagination and need to know something is popular before playing it.

Should Debate Be Allowed On Sales Posts?
I've seen a few comments stating that sales posts should be locked, there is nothing to stop the seller locking the topic
