The scene has lost another legend in Masquerader, Sammie “Sam" Lee Hutchins. He was part of one of the finest groups ever and an extremely popular group on the scene. The group have a catalogue to rival any with many of their recordings becoming staple plays for many Djs. They recently made it to the semi-finals of America's Got Talent and in the process bringing their music to a new huge untapped audience. R.I.P. and thank y.ou for the music Sam in the centre The groip made an announcement on their social media page on Facebook...

Hot boxers or cheque book Djs and they aren't necessarily new to the scene, I can think of plenty like that over the years, even today.

I got it pretty cheap off ebay, can't remember exactly what but it wasn't a lot. LIke I say I sold it for around 50 quid, maybe a bit more 3 or 4 years ago.

I agree its jst an OK record but its been about a lot longer than 10 years, I played it out getting on 20 years ago and it was played before that

I sold one about three years ago for I think £50 nor so, wasn't mint, Vg or Vg +. I'd expect a bit of a rise in price but $800 plus dollars is a joke.

The US copy was fetching 150/175 2 or 3 years ago, £200/250 plus now for a US copy I'd say. Canadian, certainly a lot tougher that its US counterpart.

Not one mention of what Kevin Sinfield has done for humanity as well as sport.

He could make that sax talk. Buddy Holly was one of my earliest musical loves and I remember I had to find out who was playing sax on some of his records.

You might not be a label completist but you buy records of a specific genre. Any amount of records though is a collection, there is no other way really to describe it, or indeed any amount of anything of one type.

It’s a shame there had to be a but I guess the better team overall won. France weren’t in the game and didn’t look like getting in it either until the penalty. The Argie boss’s substitutions have to be questioned. He’s constantly taken the better players off as though the game was won and they have very nearly paid for it on at least two other occasions. But the first French goal gave us a great ending and a brilliant game. Nice to see the best player ever get his fitting finale.

I’ve always collected something ever since I was a little kid. From the cards in PG Tips (anyone remember them?), football stickers, stamps through to records. I’m by no means a completist, do collect some labels and have the full run but that isn’t for everything. Just buy what I like now. I couldn’t care what they are worth, I don’t buy with an eye on what they might make me in the future and don’t really buy to sell. I’ll buy till I drop then I won’t care what happens to them.
