  1. was just thinking that there is no mention that these aren't original studio acetates, could easily fool a few

The Sterling should be stamped. If it's scratched in it's a boot.
  3. All Platinum? It's on Turbo. Jap re-issue on P-Vine.

Can't remember what the one was called I saw and heard but seem to remember it was decentish ballad will try and find out
  5. I agree thats what they are listed at but why? loads turned up.....seen two for sale today they might be listed but...do they sell Pete nearer the mark IMHO.
  6. for the amount that turned up maybe 125/150 is too much 200 way too much IMO.

you'd probably get one for £10/£15.
  9. I think most would be gurning and shouting after 5 grams
  10. Don't think I've ever been to a venue where I've heard a couple of hours of hissing and crackling (except from maybe the crowd ) from the records and come away with my ears bleeding Don't think any DJ worth his salt would play record after record that hiss and crackle to the point it spoils the paying punters enjoyment. If I ever booked a dj and this was happening I think I'd tell him to sort himself out
  11. Emanuel Laskey and Ella Woods, the rest I've heard that much over the years I wouldn't care if I never heard them again, I'd sooner spend my "wish" money on something a bit more obscure, preferably cheaper too
  12. here they are the Oxford Shites
  13. I've heard ther boot/re-issue played more often than the real thing in recent times. Been at a venue in recent times were three who actually owned a real copy and none played it.
  14. well that few thousand no longer exist if they were skipped
  15. whats the record....might save someone spending unnecessary money, then the owner might shift them at a reasonable price.
  16. Red lettering first issue, blue 2nd issue. Have seen mis-spelt copies before, wouild say genuine and just a pressing plant error.
  17. Reckon 'i'd agree with your price Pete. Heard it played by various other dj's over the years but never really made it.

  19. Pat Staten in quantity? Jackie Day I heard 20 odd hardly loads is it. C'mon Pete spill the beans
  20. Back to Scarborough, did niters there in late 80's/early 90's at Lemon Tree club I think it was called
  21. I always thought JG Lewis was Johnny Gilliam. Always loved "Find Yourself Another" Johnny_Gilliam___Find_Yourself_Another___Bo_Mar.mp3

mine is an mp3pro, about half the size, in your case 2 thirds the size 1976

Agreed great record, will have it's day one day. One I've spun out the odd time. Hope this files better? Ken you need to record and save Wav and then convert to MP3, or save straight to mp3 if you can. Qulaity will be better cause reducing a wav to the size your posting will compress quite a lot and will lose a lot of quality in the process. Luke_Day___Love_Lines___Renfro.mp3
