  1. I'm not 100% Sure when this was released as it has the Silver Fox Number, Yet it is on SSS International.
  2. EAST COAST : "Arp" DEMO Credited to The Elgins EAST COAST : "Arp" Stock Copy Credited to THE DOWNBEATS PopSike.com However, It is the MIDWEST Copies that carry THE DOWNBEATS as a DEMO Format MIDWEST : Here it is with "THE ELGINS" Sticker over THE DOWNBEATS Printed Label Credit WEST COAST : Monarch This is a DEMO on the Early V.I.P. Design yet it is credited to ELGINS not DOWNBEATS The West Coast Monarchs tended to keep the Early Design for a longer period across the Motown Catalogue. I would love to see a West Coast Stock Copy with the early design if one does exist. As already mentioned, the name change happened quite late in the printing / pressing stage. Who I ask would therefore be credited on the 1st Batch West Coast Stock Copy. Here is a West Coast copy with the Later Design and ELGINS Credit Could this be the only West Coast Stock Copy
  3. Always hoped that there was a White DEMO for this release with "MY LITTLE GIRL" as the B Side
  4. Yes, there are two label variations for this as with most Mirwood releases
  5. Taken me a few years, finaly found a West Coast White DEMO. WEST COAST : EAST COAST :
  6. Never seen one either. It is a Mystery why certain Titles did have White DEMOs and others without. The amount of White DEMOs pressed for each Title appears to differ too I have yet to see a Little Ann DEMO on Ric-Tic.
  7. From "BOSS BEAT" LP 9298
  8. Very Sad News RIP Alfie
  9. Here are a couple with Stickers that should be classed as part of a records promotion and therefore Belong. Nice to have a clean label but certain Stickers / DJ Graffiti from back in the 60s I don't mind. Regarding Graffiti, It's probably Impossible to verify / endorse , Sometimes it just looks right so fair enough. Artist, Producer, etc Signed copies It really comes down to research / provenance I suppose. Music promoter in '50s, '60s CHIGAGO TRIBUNE >>> HOWARD BEDNO <<<
  10. Extremely Sad News, another Legend passes RIP Deon Jackson
  11. HOLLYWOOD PRESS : On the HOLLYWOOD PRESS DEMO for The "IN" Crowd, expect to have this sticker neatly placed on the Label.
  12. "To WEBK From Charles" and then difficult to make out. "E Hatcher" or "E Starr" May be neither of course.
  13. "Sincerely Barbra Mercer"
  14. Just found a DEMO It's now the 2nd one that I have ever seen and It's a different Variation to your copy. Another Red / White
  15. -------------Has a smaller Deadwax.
  16. Actually "Salvation" Instrumental Apparently some have "Salvation" on the Label
  17. Same thing happened with the Original Release Three pictured below. Makes you wonder why it's so bloomin' hard to find.
  18. Now that is Interesting. Obviously more than one run at the pressing plant or printers for this release.
  19. All on STYRENE These two have a Scratched Matrix I did read somewhere that these were made only for the Northern Market. I bought them early 70s. This Jackie Wilson has a STAMPED Matrix and is a RE-ISSUE
  20. Very Nice Mate. Love these from Australia. We are comparing UK to USA Releases but let us not forget that our friends in other parts of the world did their bit regarding Motown releases. We are reminded daily via the Internet, just how far motowns influence has spread over the years. There are many collecting opportunities to be had at the moment, Think outside the box and have fun
  21. The Marvelettes Deliver The Singles CD with "Reaching For Something I Can't Have" Yet, No US Single Release
