Its actually a 350 acre estate thats a boarding school.They get chicken a week and a bag of spuds.

Casino on a freezing cold Feb night in '74.Caught last bus from Blackburn to Chorley then last bus form Chorley to Wigan.Got frisked just after getting off bus then on to Beachcomber til Casino opened. Had to wait til 10am next morning for bus back to Blackburn. Can't remember first record I heard tho'.Happy days.Last allnighter I did was either the Lea Manor first time around or Colony Club at Greenham near Newbury.

I've just posted 4 seperate singles and altho they all weighed differently,same packing etc lady in post office tried her new measuring device and charged me same for 1st class post...65 pence.No change from when I last sent some. Maybe different when I take a packet down with 4 singles in the one altho' adjusted payment for that. Hope its of help. Dave.

Slightly off topic I know but he had two warehouse type places in Blackburn,probably still does (family run i think).Never bought owt from him,just remember his shoes had two holes in heel area where string was to hang them up on sales hangers.

Did a small do in Eastleigh nr Southampton on sat nite.I played for the dancers.They pay their money to come and dance therefore you get paid.Mind you i'd have done it for nothing.Kept them happy for my 45 mins.Only cleared the floor once.The record that did it was The Millionaires on Speciality - And The Rains Came. End of night promoter was happy dancers were happy and so was I. Dave Morris.
