Doctor Rhythm LP SOLD
Selling a copy of the scarce Doctor Rhythm LP "I feel it rising", only issued in South Africa on the Café Society label in 1981. Standout tune is the two stepper "I feel so strong now" that's been a spin for Wayne Arbon. Vinyl is like new, a shiny NM. Cover is worn along top seam, otherwise nice, would grade VG to VG+. Looking for £160. SOLD Thanks, Carl

Paul Thrower, sad news
So very sad to hear this. Paul was one of the first UK soul guys I met, and I will always remember him as a true gentleman, funny as hell and equally kind. Always a pleasure to meet him in Yarmouth or Bilbao, and later on at our Stockholm event as well. Last time we met was the Memphis soul trip in May. Even when his bodily health let him down, Paul still had that great, warm aura. What a class act. Thoughts go to Clare. Rest in peace Paul.

Artists that sound like other artists
The lead singer in Young Mods (esp on I can't hurt you back) sounds so much like Curtis it's almost silly.
